advocate, Ravi Paranjpe alias Balasaheb is the perfect example of a
democratic leader.

Kiran takes a keen interest in the activities of Chakram Hikers since the
foundation in 1981. He has a lion’s share in the administration of the
organization. His tryst with Sahyadris continues for over 27 years. He has summited Mt. Shitidhar situated in Manali region. Today,
his administrative skills not only help him in his personal achievements,
but Chakram has benefited tremendously, thanks to his ever lending selfless
support.

Sudeep has been exploring the Sahyadris for over a decade, His unconditional
love for the mountains has taken him to the Himalayan ranges and at a young
age, he already has few successful Himalayan expeditions to his credit
including the leadership of Saifee expedition in 2005. He has successfully
completed the Basic and Advance Mountaineering Courses with excellent
results.

Associated with Chakram Hikers since 2002, Nitin started out as an active participant in most of Chakram’s treks. He did the Basic Mountaineering Course in 2005 and also participated in the successful Chamser Kangri expedition in 2006. He has summited Mt. Shitidhar situated in Manali region. Having a high degree of administration and accounting skills he quickly moved into organizing & planning of various events. A man of few words Nitin is known to bring in the corporate & organizational views to Chakram’s various initiatives.

Mahesh Kadam, is an enthusiastic trekker in the Sahyadris and Himalayas. His
altruistic contributions to the various activities of Chakram Hikers are
worth a pat on the back.
He has Basic and Advance Mountaineering Course to his credit. He is an
accomplished rock climber.

MK has been trekking Sahyadri ranges since 1984 and has played a role of Deputy Leader in
successful Himalayan expeditions. He has immensely contributed to various
endeavours taken up by Chakram Hikers since his association and proved a
great support in times of crisis. Managing large scale trekking, mountaineering programs is his passion. He has successfully completed the Basic
Mountaineering Courses with excellent result.
