First Aid Training Course :
There are many aspects of health and safety when it comes to coming home
safely from a trek or expedition, and returning to normal city life. One of
them is preserving health while enjoying the mountain sport. And since this
is a group activity, it is strongly advisable that there are mechanisms in
place to take care of anticipated and at times un-anticipated health events
while away from the relative safety of our cities.
A doctor accompanying a group is a great asset and so is a qualified or
experienced first aider. Proper knowledge, a well equipped medical kit &
knowledge of nearby health centers can help manage many health incidents
during most treks. We strongly recommend that our leaders / instructors
attend a wilderness first aid course.
We organise wilderness first aid course for our leaders / instructors. Dr.
Milind Chitley, MBBS and a mountaineer has been imparting his knowledge on
First Aid to the members.

Outdoor Management Development Programme :
In ancient times the Learning Centre or Gurukul used to be in the closest of
nature, far from the crowds and to make the students well verse in the every
aspect of Life but with the change in the time, Gurukul turned into the
multi storey concrete jungle where tilt of education is on theory rather
than the practical implementation.
At Chakram Hikers, we try to innovate the learning experience and design the
programs in a way which help the talent to 'show up', using the old
fashioned Gurukul premises with new fashioned Management Development
classrooms and viable Mentors to guide and support.
Our approach is evolving the management skills as inspiration for others and
transforming from manager to leader. We had conducted three similar
programmes for Schindler India Private Limited where technical assistance
was provided from Chakram Hikers.
