Navri Pinnacle Climb in Ragyacha Mandav (Bhaykhala) Region
Chakram Hikers regularly organizes expeditions to scale challenging and unexplored peaks. As part of this ongoing effort, the team targeted the Navra–Navri pinnacles located in the Ragyacha Mandav (Bhaykhala) region along the Chikhandara route connecting Dehena and Samrad villages. These pinnacles had remained unconquered until now.
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Chakram Hikers successfully scaled the Navri pinnacle, which rises to a height of 125 feet. A base camp was established in a stream near the pinnacle. From there, the team ascended a hill and then carefully descended a leftward slope toward the pinnacle. As the area had never been explored before, the climbers selected what appeared to be the safest possible route. Due to extremely slippery terrain and a deep valley alongside the path, a 1,500-foot safety rope was fixed throughout the approach.
After reaching the saddle of the pinnacle, the final ascent began. Sudarshan Kanade and Rajesh Patil successfully summited the pinnacle, with Prasad Mhatre acting as the second man, providing belay and technical guidance. Valuable local support was provided by Lahu Muthe from Samrad village, while Rajesh Gadgil and Aniket Rahalkar from Mumbai also contributed significantly to the success of the expedition.
