Note –

Trek Fee is approximate. All the expenses of the trek will be divided equally among the participants, including leaders. Extra expenditure, if any, will have to be shared by all.

We do not confirm your seat without payment.

For online payment, please mention your Name and trek name in narration while doing payment, so that it will be easy for us to confirm. Share Screenshot / payment details with leader.

1. If replacement is available against cancellation, 10% of the trek fee will be deducted on cancellation by the participant and the balance will be refunded.
2. If no replacement is available against cancellation, proportionate additional cost incurred till the time of cancellation, over and above 10% of the trek fee, will be deducted from the trek fee paid by the participant and the balance will be refunded.
   The refund will be paid to the participant within 10 days of completion of the trek.

Note: This is a general checklist for treks. The exact requirements may change depending on the trek plan and conditions. A final list will be shared during the pre-trek briefing.

Clothing

Please wear decent and sober clothing during the trek. Avoid jeans, shorts, sleeveless tops, tights, and any revealing outfits.
Comfortable full-sleeve shirts and full-length trousers or trekking pants are strongly recommended. They help protect you from mosquito and insect bites, sun exposure, and scratches from thorny bushes along the trail.
For women, salwar kameez is also suitable and comfortable for trekking.
During the monsoon, clothes made of quick-drying fabric are highly recommended.
Half pants and three-fourths are strictly not allowed while trekking.

Footwear

Wear proper trekking shoes with good grip (such as Action/CTR trekking shoes) that do not slip on wet or uneven surfaces.
During the rainy season, ankle-support trekking shoes are especially helpful.
Avoid regular canvas shoes or Hunter shoes with hard soles, as they increase the risk of slipping.
It is advisable to wear trekking shoes that are one size larger to help prevent blisters.
Do not wear torn, worn-out, or damaged shoes.

Note: Participants without proper trekking shoes will not be allowed to continue the trek for safety reasons and be sent back.

Important Safety & Conduct Notes

For safety reasons, participants without proper trekking shoes and appropriate clothing will not be allowed to trek.

Please avoid carrying excess cash/valuables or wearing gold ornaments during the trek.

Share the trek brief and itinerary along with emergency contact numbers with someone at home before you leave.

Non-vegetarian food and alcohol are strictly prohibited during the trek.

This is a trek/nature trail. All participants are expected to follow the club’s rules and regulations that apply to every trek.

Everyone is expected to help with camping work, such as cleaning the campsite and carrying common equipment.

Avoid photography or selfies at risky or difficult sections during the trek. Do not take unnecessary risks for photos.

Every trek shall be led by two designated persons: the Leader, who will always lead from the front, and the Co-Leader, who will remain at the rear.

All decisions taken by the Leader shall be final and binding on all participants. For the duration of the trek, the Leader’s authority shall supersede that of any Managing Committee Member of the organization.

All tasks assigned by the Leader must be carried out diligently by every participant. Participants shall adhere strictly to the pre-determined trek schedule.

Every trekker shall respect and protect the local flora and fauna and shall not deface or damage any monument or property by writing, scribbling, or any other means.

While overtaking another participant, adequate warning must be given.

Trekkers shall warn those behind them of any loose rocks or stones dislodged underfoot to help prevent accidents.

Villagers should be kept informed of any serious situation that may arise during the trek, and assistance should be provided when required.

Under no circumstances shall any participant move ahead of the Leader or lag behind the Co-Leader.

No participant shall leave the campsite without prior permission from the Leader or Co-Leader.

Before leaving a campsite, it must be thoroughly cleaned, and all fires must be completely extinguished.

The Leader reserves the right to make necessary changes to the trek schedule without prior notice.

Consumption of liquor and non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited during the trek or related events.

Smoking is permitted only at designated areas within campsites and is strictly prohibited while on the move.

All trekking, mountaineering, and camping equipment must be handled and maintained with due care.

Every participant shall conduct themselves in accordance with the objectives of the club and shall not act in any manner that may harm its reputation.

Any violation of rules, instructions, or instances of rude or inappropriate behavior shall invite strict disciplinary action.

Participants wishing to join a trek must submit their names along with the requisite fee to the Leaders prior to the trek.

Each participant must carry a packed lunch, cap, appropriate footwear, water bottle, torch, plate, spoon, glass, and personal medicines for every trek. A detailed list will be shared during the pre-trek briefing.

Hiking, trekking, and rock climbing are adventure activities, and accidents may occur in spite of taking all necessary safety precautions, utmost caution and care. The club shall not be held responsible for any injury, accident, or death during the trek.

The club shall not be responsible for the loss of any personal belongings of the participants.
