What you should carry?

Indicative Checklist of items to be carried (personal items not included): Do Not Forget to carry mandatory Items. Extra cash, in case the expenses exceed Rs. 900/- per head. Good quality sack to accommodate things required for the trek - MANDATORY (you must also share a load of common equipment/material, if any, besides your luggage) (Avoid: 1-strap sack, handbags, suitcases, plastic bags etc.) Trekking Shoes that don’t slip on slippery surface (E.g. CTR/Action Trekking Shoes), Socks. MANDATORY Water bottle (min. 2 ltrs) – MANDATORY Additional pair of clothes. (For Waterfall) Cap Chocolates / Titbits / Fruits/ chikki etc. as per choice Torch with extra cells – MANDATORY Personal Medicines, if any. Packed Lunch for Sunday– MANDATORY Trekking Pole Floaters/Sandals

our clothing should be decent and sober. Avoid wearing jeans, shorts, sleeveless tops, tights and revealing clothes. 1. It is recommended to wear comfortable full-sleeve shirts and trousers/ trek pants. It helps to avoid mosquito & insect bites and scratches from thorny bushes along the route. The salwar kameez also works fine for ladies. Clothes made up of quick drying fabrics are useful for a trek in monsoon. Note - half Pants/ Three-Forths are STRICTLY not allowed while trekking. Any good trekking shoes (like Action/CTR Trekking shoes) that won’t slip on the slippery surface are recommended. For rainy season shoes with ankle support are particularly useful. Avoid ordinary canvass shoes or Hunter shoes (which have hard sole) as possibility of slipping with them is higher. It is advisable to wear the shoes which are one size higher to avoid blisters. Avoid torn/worn out shoes. Note – Participants without proper trekking shoes will not be allowed to continue for safety reasons and be sent back.

For reasons of safety, no participant will be allowed to trek without proper shoes and clothing. Avoid carrying excessive cash/gold ornaments. Please leave this trek brief & details of the trek with someone at home. Non-veg food & consumption of liquor is prohibited during the trek. This is a trek/nature trail & not a picnic and everyone is required to follow the rules & regulations of the club, applicable to every trek (reproduced at the end). Everybody is required to contribute in camping work like cleaning camp site, carrying equipment etc. Avoid photography/selfies at difficult spots. Ensure that you are not taking any risk while doing photography. This trek requires prior experience of trekking.
